Its primary function is actually quite similar to that of a straightening machine. On the one hand, both machines provide an excellent smoothing effect on the metal surface, further enhancing the surface quality of the workpiece. On the other hand, both can eliminate internal stresses within the metal material, thereby improving the structural stability of the workpiece and reducing unpredictable factors during use. However, there are differences in their processing methods. The leveling machine mainly focuses on planar processing to give the workpiece excellent surface properties and structural stability, whereas the straightening machine primarily corrects the workpiece in three-dimensional space. Simply put, one is a process of leveling on a flat plane, while the other is a process of straightening in 3D space. Their processing targets also differ significantly. Although both process metal workpieces, leveling machines are mainly used for plates and thicker workpieces, while straightening machines are primarily designed for pipes and tubes, such as various water pipes and gas pipelines. Therefore, when choosing a processing method, you should select based on their respective differences and areas of application.
